Romantic Cruise Vacation – A Wonderful Week of Romance on the Sea
Day Three
This morning we rise a little later, on our
Romantic Cruise Vacation. Today is a
sea cruising day and last night was so romantic and unforgettable. No hurry
to get up… and a good reason for staying in bed a bit longer.
We decide to continue the magic of last night by ordering room service for
breakfast to enjoy on our private balcony. After breakfast, we cuddle just a
tad longer before getting ready for the day.
First, we will take advantage of the gym – but what should we use? There are
exer-cycles, treadmills, rowing machines, weights… One thing is for sure – I
won’t be taking part in the spinning class!
After our invigorating exercise, we again set up in the lounges overlooking
the pool. Today’s activities here are the ‘Wet and Wacky’ pool games. What a
hoot!
When we have had enough R&R in the sun, we decide that we will take part in
the wine tasting. We find a new favorite and order a glass to take back to
the room for our now ritual private time on our balcony before dinner.
On the way back to our stateroom, we take a detour by way of the spa. I had
made an appointment for my (much) better half for a massage, manicure and
pedicure – more of the magic of our romantic vacation cruise.
An hour or so later, I swing by to pick up my partner. She has a glow about
her that is indescribable. And the magic will continue…
Tonight as we leave our stateroom for the dining room, we take yet another
detour. I had made a reservation in one of the fine restaurants on board – a
candle lit table for two in a cozy corner by the windows.
After a wonderful meal with even more wonderful conversation, we stroll down
to the theater for the evening show. We won’t be able to stay for the
complete show because we don’t want to miss the first round of the Cruise
Ship Idol contest. We are amazed at how talented some of our fellow
passengers are.
Before returning to our stateroom for the evening, we stop at one of the
night clubs for a drink or two and of course some dancing. Another magical
romantic cruise day comes to a close…
